Terms of use of our products and services
impactID’s mission is to set a new standard for how non-profits work. By offering practical ICT solutions, we help organizations, their partners, and networks streamline their efforts, making their projects more effective and impactful.
Our software is available to all kinds of organizations. To ensure that it is only used to support the positive change we aim to achieve, we have defined standards that all our users must adhere to. These standards apply to any organization subscribing to any product from impactID.
Non-support of abuse, violence and terrorism
We do not knowingly accept organizations that endorse, support or promote abuse, violence or terrorist activity, whether through their own activities or indirectly through their cooperation with other persons and organizations engaged in such activities.
Non-discrimination
Any organization that discriminates against any person or population group will be denied the use of our products. This includes, but is not limited to, discrimination based on age, ancestry, color, gender, medical condition, physical or mental disability, race, religion and sexual orientation.
Non-adherence and non-conversion to religious or political doctrine
We do not knowingly accept any organization which requires adherence or conversion to any religious or political doctrine to be a beneficiary of the program.
To clarify, faith-based organizations are welcome to use our products, provided that the organization’s beneficiaries are not required to adhere to or convert to that at organization’s religious doctrine as a condition of receiving service from the organization. The same applies to organizations whose views are based on a political doctrine.
Non-support of alcohol, tobacco and drugs
Any organization that promotes the use of alcohol, tobacco or drugs for anything other than medicinal purposes will be denied the use of our products.
Application of the terms of use
We vet organizations who subscribe to one or more of our products with care. This means that we will review the organization’s policies and practices, paying special attention to organizations working in conflict areas and working with vulnerable groups.
If we identify policies or practices that are in violation of these terms of use, we will take steps to end the subscription to our products in accordance with our general terms and conditions.
By applying these standards to the usage of our services, we ensure that our software is only used to support positive change in the world.
